Essential Mountain Navigation Skills Learn the essential map reading, navigation, mountain safety and hill walking skills to venture safe in the mountains, hills, and moorland environments of the British Isles and beyond. The Mountain Navigation Skills course includes all the skills covered in the Explore Navigation and Hill Skills course but undertaken in more challenging, higher and steeper terrain.

The Mountain Navigation Skills course is guided by Ged Lawless, a qualified and experienced Mountain Leader (ML), and is held outdoors in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Bannau Brycheiniog, Wales.
