About TrailCraft
Leading - Instructing - Coaching - Guiding
TrailCraft is based in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Bannau Brycheiniog Wales UK. TrailCraft provides high quality outdoor adventurous activities including navigation courses, mountain skills, expedition training, hill walking and adventure hiking expeditions for all levels of experience.

The aim of TrailCraft is to inspire adventure, build confidence and share the essential knowledge and skills required to undertake journeys into wild country. There are infinite opportunities and experiences to be found in the world's natural environment, let TrailCraft provide the key to open that door.
TrailCraft was established in 2002 by Ged Lawless, a qualified and experienced Mountain Leader and Expedition Guide with a background in Risk Management and over thirty years expeditionary experience working and travelling in remote and hostile environments around the globe. In 2005, Ged was awarded Fellowship of The Royal Geographical Society (FRGS) for services to Geography, fieldwork and expeditions.
Ged was involved in the initial RGS consultation and draft of the British Safety Standard BS8848: The Specification for the provision of visits, fieldwork, expeditions, and adventurous activities. Ged is a qualified full member of the Mountain Training Association, and Off Site Safety Management (OSSM) qualified, responsible for the design, delivery and safety management of all TrailCraft activities.
Ged is proud to be an Ambassador for Bannau Brycheiniog, Brecon Beacons National Park, Fforest Fawr UNESCO GEO Park and the Dark Skies Reserve.
